Recruitment for Anacortes Planning Commission Vacancy

Anacortes WA - The Mayor is seeking applicants for the City of Anacortes Planning Commission. Members of the Planning Commission are appointed by the Mayor, by and with the consent of the City Council for a term of six years.


The Commission meets the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at 6 p.m. or as needed. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, meetings are currently being held remotely. Interested applicants should be residents who have a desire to serve the community; time to devote to commission responsibilities; and a background and interest in planning, community, and economic development.
