[ARCHIVED] Sanitary Sewer Project:

2023 Santiary Sewer CIPP E Basin Project Map

As part of the 2023 inflow and infiltration reduction program, the City of Anacortes is moving forward with the 2023 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project.
The project will consist of lining by Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) approximately 6418 LF of sanitary sewer line. The project is from K Avenue to R Avenue between 29th and 32nd Streets.
Additional notifications will be posted on social media, particularly the City of Anacortes website at www.anacorteswa.gov and the Public Works Facebook page at Anacortes Public Works
Construction will typically be 7 am to 7 pm, Monday through Friday, although construction may be allowed during the late evening hours and weekends if necessary.  During construction there will be traffic detours and road closures to allow for the work. As part of the installation process, there could be a disruption of your sanitary sewer service for up to 8 hours. The contractor will attempt to give an advance notice of at least 24 hours prior to any required sanitary service disruption.
Construction is expected to begin the first week of September and be completed by early October.
Thank you in advance for your patience during construction as we make these needed improvements to our Sanitary Sewer System. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Jeff Beltramini at (360) 293-1936 or jeffb@cityofanacortes.org.
