[ARCHIVED] 32nd Street / M Avenue Project:
Construction begins Tuesday, May 31, on the 32nd Street & M Avenue Intersection Improvements.
There will be detours in place for the duration of construction. Drivers will be directed down some neighborhood streets that do not typically see any large volumes of traffic, so please be respectful with regard to your speed.
The intersection will be completely closed during construction, even after work hours. This allows for worker safety and the ability to get the project completed in a shorter time-frame.
Ferry traffic that typically uses the 32nd Street and D Avenue route will be directed to Commercial Avenue to 12th Street/Oakes Avenue to the ferry. The detour will reflect this, but somehow GPS will tell folks otherwise. Please follow the signs.
For questions or concerns, please contact City Project Manager Steven Lange at 360-661-3468 or firstname.lastname@example.org, or city Public Works Inspector Justin Symonds at 360-661-3547 or email@example.com.
