The Anacortes Transportation Benefit District Number 1 was established by the Anacortes City Council on July 21, 2014 by Ordinance 2926 (PDF). Pursuant to Ordinance 2967 (PDF) adopted on January 4, 2016, the TBD is governed by the Anacortes City Council. Its secretary/treasurer is the City Finance Director.
Resolution 1895 adopted by City Council on July 21, 2014 established the policy for funding and prioritizing pavement maintenance and overlay projects.
