The Research Library has approximately six hundred books, magazines, and journals and also includes newspapers, brochures, clippings and other published and non-published sources of information on the cultural and natural history of Fidalgo and Guemes Islands. The Library also contains books and other resources concerning the museum profession and the field of historic preservation. The purpose of the Research Library is to aid scholars and the general public interested in the study of Fidalgo and Guemes Islands. We endeavor to maintain an up-to-date accounting of the issues affecting the area and its evolving history. Staff is available to assist with research requests. Fees may apply depending upon the amount of staff time required.
