The Records Division consists of four non-commissioned Records Clerks and one Records Supervisor. One of the Records Clerks is also the Department’s Evidence Custodian.
Duties & Responsibilities
The Records Division handles the processing, filing, and dissemination of police reports, as well as processing concealed weapons permit applications and firearms background checks.
Services Provided
Fingerprinting is available at the police station Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. by appointment only.
Copies of collision reports, concealed weapons permits, and police records are available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Evidence Custodian is available to release evidence and found property from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. by appointment only. Please call in advance to arrange for property to be released to you.
Please keep in mind that there is paperwork that will need to be completed to obtain copies of police reports or apply for a concealed weapons permit. Reports for active police investigations might not be released.
