Youth Sailing Program
The Youth Sailing Program is for kids ages 10 -16. All sessions will take place at Seafarer's Memorial Park. Sessions can only be reserved upon receipt of registration form and fee. Space is limited, so register early. All participants must take and pass a water safety class, both the classroom portion and the swimming pool portion. To take an advanced youth sailing class you must successfully complete the preceding youth sailing class or get permission from the instructor. (Example: student must pass Level 1 in order to take Level 2 and must pass Level 2 before they can take Level 3, etc.) Also, each student must possess their own Personal Flotation Device (lifejacket). In the Water Safety Class participants will learn about what type of lifejacket they should wear.
