Park Overview |
Washington
Park sits on a peninsula at the west end of Fidalgo Island. The 220-acre
city park features camping, a boat launch, and day use picnic sites. A
scenic 2.2-mile loop road winds through the park’s forested hills and
meadows with views of the San Juan Islands and Olympic Mountains. |

Park Hours |

The park is open year round from 6am to 10pm. The loop road is open from
6am to dusk for pedestrians and open from 10am to dusk for vehicular
traffic. |

Camp Ground |
|
There are 73 campsites, 46 have water and electrical hook-ups. A
sewer dump station is located near the park exit. Camping check out
time is 1pm daily. The campground is open year round. |

Driving Directions -
6300 Sunset Avenue |
From I-5
take Highway 20 west. Enter Anacortes on Spur 20 and take Commercial
Avenue to 12th Street. Turn left on 12th and follow the signs
(approximately 3 miles) to Washington Park.

| Picnic
Facilities |
| The park has three covered picnic shelters. One
covered shelter can be reserved by calling the Parks and Recreation
Department at (360) 293-1918. There are also ten uncovered picnic
tables with fire pits or upright barbeques nearby. These are first
come, first served. |

Boat Launch
Facilities |
| The facilities at Washington Park
are developed and maintained for the specific use of recreational
boaters. Boat launch parking is $8/day and boaters may stay a
maximum of 14 days. Annual boat launch passes are available through
