Water Rates:

You are charged a base charge for your water depending on what size water meter you use. This charge covers costs the City incurs regardless of whether any water is sold. Includes the costs related to the City’s 24-hour emergency response, meter readings, billings, collections, and customer service inquiries. It also funds maintenance and improvements to the City’s service lines, meters, and partial repayment of debt on capital improvements.

The base charges are as follows:

Meter Size in Inches   Monthly Base Charge
⅝” x ¾”   $4.00
¾”   $4.00
1”   $6.00

After your base charge, you are charged by how much water you use. The residential charge for water used is:

$0.96/100 Cubic Feet

One cubic foot equals 7.48 gallons of water.
