As part of the conditions for “The Orchards” development, the Developer is required to install a Box Culvert across 41st Street at H Avenue and realign Ace of Hearts Creek. By doing this, the intersection at 41st Street will be closed to thru traffic for the entire time of construction.
Construction will begin on October 10, 2005 and be completed by October 12, 2005. The schedule of construction is:
1. October 10, 2005: Work Hours 7 am to 6 pm. Dig out for new culvert in 20-foot intervals. Install the culvert in 20-foot sections and maintain erosion control.
2. October 11, 2005: Work Hours 7 am to 6 pm. Dig out for new culvert in 20-foot intervals. Install the culvert in 20-foot sections and place rock mix in culvert per the Department of Fisheries.
3. October 12, 2005: Work Hours 7 am to 6 pm. Backfill culvert, compact, open road by 6 pm.
The alternate route to A Avenue from 41st Street and H Avenue will be by the way of H Avenue north to 32nd Street, turn left on 32nd Street to D Avenue, turn left on D Avenue and follow around to A Avenue.
