Tommy Thompson Trail – Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Invitation
The City of Anacortes would like to invite you to the official grand opening of the Tommy Thompson Parkway on Saturday, January 22,2005.
There have been a lot of people involved in this incredible project and we would like to recognize and thank everyone that has been involved so far. There will be an open house in the Community Convention Center at the Fidalgo Bay Resort and along the trail from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The ribbon cutting ceremony and speeches will be at 11:30 am at the Fidalgo Bay Resort. This is a great opportunity to celebrate this new parkway and to learn more about plans for the rest of it. There will be food, entertainment, demonstrations and informational booths.
Hope you stop by the center / trail to check out the festivities and take a walk or bike ride on this beautiful new parkway.
