Anacortes Police - Parking Enforcement
Parking enforcement issues fall under the responsibility of our Animal Control Officer.

Some reminders about parking in Anacortes:

  • Cars parked on public streets must be currently registered and in running condition.
  • Parking problems on private property must be handled by the property owner.
  • The standard parking time limit in Anacortes is 72 hours. This does not apply when otherwise posted (such as downtown parking is limited to two hours) or if a vehicle is parked in the area directly adjacent to its owner’s property. This exception does not apply to junk/abandoned vehicles, motorhomes, trailers or boats.

To make a complaint about parking or abandoned vehicles, call 911 and the call will be assigned to A.C.O. Padovan.
