 Park Overview
Washington Park sits on a peninsula at the west end of Fidalgo Island. The 220-acre city park features camping, a boat launch, and day use picnic sites. A scenic 2.2-mile loop road winds through the park’s forested hills and meadows with views of the San Juan Islands and Olympic Mountains.


 Park Hours
The park is open year round from 6am to 10pm. The loop road is open from 6am to dusk for pedestrians and open from 10am to dusk for vehicular traffic.


 Camp Ground
There are 73 campsites, 46 have water and electrical hook-ups. A sewer dump station is located near the park exit. Camping check out time is 1pm daily. The campground is open year round.


 Driving Directions
Click for bigger mapFrom I-5 take Highway 20 west. Enter Anacortes on Spur 20 and take Commercial Avenue to 12th Street. Turn left on 12th and follow the signs (approximately 3 miles) to Washington Park.

 Picnic Facilities
The park has three covered picnic shelters. One covered shelter can be reserved by calling the Parks and Recreation Department at (360) 293-1918. There are also ten uncovered picnic tables with fire pits or upright barbeques nearby. These are first come, first served.


 Boat Launch Facilities
The facilities at Washington Park are developed and maintained for the specific use of recreational boaters. Boat launch parking is $7/day and boaters may stay a maximum of 14 days.
