Public Records - Yearly Cost Summary
  The City of Anacortes is dedicated to public records compliance using “best practices” in providing the fullest assistance to inquiries in the timeliest fashion with openness, transparency and accountability.

The summary below shows a history of requests, including staff time, with a calculated cost per request. We hope this list increases public awareness as to the costs associated with accommodating public records requests. In 2012, there were 89 requests received totaling $24,501.90 city tax dollars spent in complying with public records requests.
