Maximum Sewer Charges For Residential Accounts
Residential and single metered duplex accounts have a ceiling on the
sewer charges. This ceiling is determined by averaging the four winter
months November, December, January and February (adjustments due to
leaks or misreads during the averaging period are factored in). This
average is used to determine each account's AWWU, and their ceiling
for the period April 1st to April 1st of each year. This averaging
system was designed to allow customers to use more water during the
seasonal months but to keep the sewer charge at a reasonable rate
during these periods.
