Project Description:

The Growth Management Act (GMA) requires that local jurisdictions periodically review, and revise, if needed, critical areas regulations pursuant to RCW 36.70A.130.  Updates are needed to the City's critical areas regulations to comply with the GMA, to allow for integration into the recently established Title 19, Unified Development Code, and to provide improved organization, clarity and predictability.  The existing adopted critical areas regulations (AMC Ch. 17.70) can be viewed here.
